Cosco has been around since 1893, starting out as a small company making stamps, signs, knives and office supplies. Over the years, they built a reputation for quality, customer service and focusing on creating high-quality office products. Today, it provides all sorts of products and services helping companies with branding, printing and marketing.

It is part of the Taylor Corporation with 80+ companies. 3 million businesses use Taylor products which is ranked as one of the top ten print companies in North America.

This was an unusual ask that leveraged my fashion design background along with my marketing design skills. With the growing use of security badges and lanyards, directors were looking to tap into the fashion market offering people a more stylish and elegant option. The goal is to create lanyards that feel more like a piece of jewelry and less like a simple fabric strap —something that can complement an outfit rather than detract from it. The security covers would be made more distinctive and of higher quality materials while the lanyards were designed to resemble fine jewelry — combining functionality with style Seven market trends were Identified. Four of these were refined and developed further each coalescing down to three for the final collection. 32 designs were developed with 13 being put into final development. Each final piece was submitted with technical specs for pricing and production.
